The flag is flying at half mast for the victims of the floods in Queensland out front of the Coolum Surf Club next to the lifesavers lookout tower. The rain has at last abated.

The rain has stopped, for now. Storm clouds still loom and there is still the occassional shower of rain throughout the day. However, swimmers have flocked to the beach to enjoy the sun and the surf.
