From Coolum Beach, a stairway leads up to a timber boardwalk that hugs the cliffs south towards Point Perry. It offers some stunning views, particularly north towards Noosa Heads.
Coolum’s Boardwalk offers a good vantage point from where to watch birds plummet into the ocean for a feed or whales breaching during Spring. Several lookout points, as well as seats, are available along the way for weary travellers.
The short walk along Coolum’s Boardwalk is designed to be suitable for people for all abilities and is lit at night time to be accessible at all times of the day. Starting from the lights at the T-Junction of Beach Road and David Low Way, head up the boardwalk to Point Perry.
